Abstract
Progress in the development of the theory of applied-B ion diodes has been rapid since the BEAMS´88 meeting. This paper describes recent advances in the analytic theory and numerical simulation of applied-B ion diodes in general and, in particular, the diodes being tested experimentally on PBFA-II at Sandia National Laboratories.
