Abstract :
The studies on the microsecond ribbon REB generation and transport were carried out at the beam energy about 50 kJ. Conditions of the ribbon beam transport at a stabilized equilibrium were established. The transformation of the beam cross section from the ribbon shape to the circular one was realized. The obtained experimental results give the base of the full scale ribbon beam experiment at its energy about 0.5 MJ.
