Abstract :
The paper deals with theoretical calculations and experimental investigation of xenon cylindrical shell collisions with inner axial liners. Implosion was driven by up to 3 MA current. X-ray emission with a rise time of 3 ns was obtained. Its spectrum approaches to blackbody with a plasma temperature up to 130 eV.
