  • Abstract
    Computations on a “Small BΘ - Diode” done with a stationary, 2-D PIC-code are compared with the results of a first experimental run on KALIF (2 MV, 50 ns, 2 Ω) and a good agreement was found. The peak proton power density was 0.2 TW /cm2, the focus diameter was 8.3 mm FWHM.
