Abstract :
The electron optic system of the developed in INP 7 GHz RF source-magnicon with 2 μsec pulse width is described. The system consists of a diode gun and magnetic beam accompanation system. As a result of a gun test a 100 MW beam (U=430 kV, I=230 A) was obtained. The crossover beam diameter was about 4-4.5 mm, the beam transverse area compression degree was over 800.
