Abstract
An induction 1 Mev accelerating module was developed to accelerate 100 nsec electron pulses at current of 10 kA. The module is capable to operate in pulse train mode. It comprises of 6 induction cells each supplying 160 kV and driven by 3 hight-voltage impulse generators with mugnetic pulse compression alike the MAG-1 generator. Vacuum spark gaps were used to energy commutation. A process of production metglass cores was developed and the generator cores were made.
