Abstract :
We have investigated experimentally the centimeter wavelength-range relativistic Cerenkov generator. The experiments have been performed using 1.7 MV, 10 kA 0.5 msec hollow electron beam produced in foilless diode. The regime of microwave generation is realized on TM mode of circular waveguide. The supression of parasitic oscillations have been provided by the beam-field interaction upon the conditions of cyclotron resonance for most powerful space harmonic of the wave.
