Abstract :
The LIA-1.25-200 accelerator is an experimental test-bench meant to optimize the design of a commercial linear induction accelerator. The results of investigations on forming the accelerating voltage, optimization of an electron gun design and first results of high-current electron beam transport and extraction to the atmosphere are presented in the paper.
