Abstract :
The present work is devoted to the experimental investigation of high-power microwave radiation transport down an overmoded co axial plasma waveguide meeting the condition of excitation of azimuthally symmetric modes. This is the first step in constructing a PCM (Plasma Cherenkov Maser)-amplifier, driven by a high-current relativistic electron beam (REB).
