Abstract :
Random noise generation has been a major issue in electronic design especially in communication signalling. Receiver sensitivity plays an important role in determining signal coverage quality which is a direct effect of noise contribution in the system. In wireless communication for example, receiver sensitivity is the most critical parameter that will decide the rest of the systems architecture design. Often, the noise floor of specific bandwidth of interest (kTB), Noise Figure of receiver line-ups, and signal to noise ratio (SNR) requirement are the main consideration of design improvement for the receiver line-up link budgets. This paper describes the structure of a network equalizer as an additional adaptive compensation filter. The performance analysis of this equalizer has been carried out by comparing its noise variance between linear network equalizer and non-linear network equalizer. The derivation of the signal received vector is presented where the parameters of interest are the amplitude and phase of each equalizer´s output.
