Abstract :
An evaluation varies to a certain degree depending on the particular issues, presenting problems, and assessment goals. Proper planning of how and what should be assessed can influence the enhancement of respective programs outcome. UKM make an effort to assess their students´ total learning experience that includes three (3) main construct of assessment in correlation to the infrastructure provided, soft skill development and personality traits. This paper discusses the assessment conducted on randomly selected 100 engineering students, and was given the 5 point Likert style survey at the end of their current semester. The responses were tabled and run through Rasch analysis software, WinSteps. The findings indicate that the students have shown a positive responds on their total learning experience with a mean person of 0.63 logit. It further focuses on the soft skill development´s finding revealing that they excel in their social responsibilities however lack of entrepreneurial skills.
