Abstract :
The Power Line Communications (PLC) are often used in the data transmission for the management in the power transport network. Also since a few years the PLC uses the distribution network to transmit data (Internet, television cable, house automation ...) among customers. In this work we are interested in calculation of the electromagnetic field emitted by the PLC network taking into account the power transformer. To realize this work we use the concept of Schelkunoff allowing to calculate the electromagnetic field emitted by an antenna located in a free space traversed by a current in the presence of the propagation. To validate our work we confront our calculation results with those obtained by the NEC-4 software which uses the antennas theory then, we propose some applications.
