Abstract
The paper describes some EMC aspects related to a UWB radar for monitoring astronauts breathing activity. In particular the susceptibility problems are analysed. Both the standard susceptibility requirements and the functional susceptibility are considered. In particular this last aspect is fundamental for the design of a robust post processing tool for the calculation of the breathing frequency.
