Abstract :
This paper deals with the analysis of common mode currents on cable harnesses and cable structures. For this analysis, the mode conversion is determined as a parasitic effect to analyze the currents on the cables. The analysis is done by using generalized modal scattering parameters to detect mode conversion and to determine critical frequencies for radiation.
