Abstract
Capacity expressions for adaptive transmission technique are derived for the L-branch selection combining diversity systems over κ-μ fading channels. The capacity expressions are derived by using the probability density function of the receiver output signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). A study on the effects of the number of multipath cluster and the ratio of the total dominant component power to the scattered wave power has been presented.
