Abstract
In the LTE system, it is still a challenge for an eNB to perform resource block (RB) allocation and scheduling. So far, most of the previous works focus on maximizing the system throughput or achieving fairness among User Equipments (UEs). However, allocating RBs without considering the data rate requested by UEs or granted by call admission control (CAC) would make the demand and supply not balance. In this paper, we propose an uplink resource allocation scheme named “Allocate As Granted (AAG),” which aims at allocating RBs based on the Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (EWMA) data rate granted by CAC. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme performs well in terms of satisfaction degree and system throughput.
