Abstract :
Unidirectional electrified transverse magnetic flux BLDC motor of single phase is proposed by the authors. In the case of the single-phase motor, torque pulsation is big. The torque pulsation decreases, if this is changed into the polyphase motor. The authors propose the polyphase motor in which the product between rotor magnet number and phase number becomes a number of the stator electromagnet. In this motor, the core loss increases and the copper loss decreases as the number of the phase increases. In this paper, the change of the motor efficiency as the number of the phase increases is clarified by experiment.
