Abstract :
This paper presents a generalized transfer function to design a maximum power point tracking controller (MPPT) for small scale wind turbines driving permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG). Initially, the paper provides a simplified transient analysis for the system, and according to that a generalized transfer function was proposed. A case study was tested by designing a system controller for small scale wind generation system. The design was verified by experimental test.
