Abstract
With the widely used of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), it is required to have a higher performance. Improving the key parameters of permanent magnet synchronous motor is the main way to optimize the design. As the reactance parameters are the important basis for the design of permanent magnet synchronous motor, the reactance parameters are analyzed in this paper. The reactance parameters under the slotted rotor are calculated by the EMF, the variation of air-gap flux density, maximum speed and back-EMF with the changes of slot depth. The strengths and weaknesses of the slotted rotor on q-axis direction are summed up. The basis for the design of permanent magnet synchronous motor is provided.
