Abstract :
In the paper, the 2D fringing magnetic flux in front of a gap, in an infinitely deep slot is studied using conformal mapping and exact formulas are proposed for transversal geometrical conductances, permeances or capacitances, as well as longitudinal resistance of the gap. Two configurations are considered: wide and narrow gap.
