Abstract :
The Statistical Process Control (SPC) gives the essential information to the process validation, since it allows the detailed investigation about all the critical control points, reaching not only to diagnosis of the possible non conformities in all of the process parts, but also to signal the probable sources of quality deviation, permitting corrections and interactions with the process. The present study has the aim of using the Statistical Process Control tools in the supply of raw material provision to the Blast Furnaces and Sintering of a Steel Company, aiming the fulfillment of the goals, the understanding of the process, as well as an accurate view of the special and normal problems in the process.
