Abstract :
A number of the power pinching discharges has been developed during the last 20 years: Z-pinch, plasma focus, vacuum spark and so on. The motivation for developing the electromagnetic implosion technique is to produce a hot dense plasma to achieve the fusion conditions .. The plasma parameters ne ≥ 1019cm-3, Te 1-10 keV as we as high level of neutron radiation (up to 1012 neutrons per shot in plasma focus) have been reached already .. At the same time the power full streams of the accelerated electrons and ions formed in a plasma were found to appear at the current rupture stage. The energy of these particles is several times more than the maximal bank voltage Thus, one can consider snob a discharge as some kind of electron on ion accelerator.
