Abstract :
The paper treats the following three problems of using high-current REB generators to produce inertially confined thermonuclear fusion reactions. First, limits of power density transmittable through magnetic selfinsulation vacuum lines. Second, means of controlling the REB energy deposition in metal foils. Thirds magnetic-pressure shell acceleration opportunities.
