Abstract
As follows from the experiments, in the absence of the external magnetic field the collective processes play the most important part in relaxation of a high-current REB propagating in the neutral gas and plasma. The developing collective processes lead to intense microwave and X-radiation from the plasma relativistic beam modulation and emergence of fast electrons whose effective bremsstrahlung energy is up to 20 kev.
