Abstract
This paper presents a study of sub-reflector extension shapes to reduce the far-out side-lobes in offset Gregorian reflector configurations. It is shown that reflecting some of the energy from the extension back onto the main reflector instead of past it reduces the side-lobe past the main reflector as well as increase the aperture efficiency.
