  • Abstract
    In this article, a printed monopole antenna for triple band operation is presented. The antenna fed by microstrip structure has a compact size of 33(L)*30(W)*1.6(H) mm3; and a simple structure. The proposed antenna design is described. A prototype has been fabricated and tested. The results are presented which indicate that it is suitable for the 2.5-2.69GHz, 3.4-3.69GHz, and 5.23-5.85GHz WiMAX applications and the 2.4-2.484GHz, 5.15-5.35GHz, and 5.725-5.825GHz WLAN applications.
