Abstract :
The interest in UWB communication systems using metamaterial concept has been significant increased. In this paper, an ultra wideband bandpass filter based on composite right/left transmission line is presented. The proposed UWB bandpass filter is obtained by cascading the interdigital lines and three units of DGS structure. For the designed BPF, a wide bandwidth is achieved ranging from 3.9 to 10.3GHz. Moreover, the insertion loss is less than 1.5dB and the return loss better than -10dB, confirmed by measurement.
