Abstract :
A compact tunable phase shifter based on folded half mode substrate integrated waveguide (FHMSIW) is presented. Several varactor diodes and the matching circuits loaded on the open side of FHMSIW which takes full advantage of its special characteristics. Distinct Phase shifts is realised by changing the voltage on the diodes. In the working frequency L-S band, 33% of 3dB bandwidth is reached, and it achieves a maximum phase shift of 91 degrees at 2.73 GHz.
