Abstract :
In wireless sensor network, sensor nodes can transmit large volume of data towards the sink. Hence, there is congestion in the sensor network around the sink It can result in buffer overflow at the nodes. Congestion causes packet drops and energy waste which lead to unreliable data transmission. Congestion controlling and loss recovery using retransmission of drop packet decreases the waste of energy, increase the lifetime of sensor nodes, improve network through put and packet loss. Congestion and loss recovery may be control using proposed transport layer protocol.
