Abstract
This paper proposes an inter-cell interference coordination (ICIC) scheme for TD-LTE trunking communication system. Firstly, users in TD-LTE trunking communication system are classified into group users and non-group users based on their service characteristics and therefore using different frequency reuse partitioning technologies in the resource management to solve the co-channel interference. Next, we modify the existing max C/I and fairness algorithms with the priority attribute of group users in trunking system and investigate the performance on data rate /fairness with the modified scheduling algorithms. Finally, for non-group users, we introduce a resource priority factor of an inner user using edge band based on SFR and study its effects on throughput/coverage with max C/I and fairness algorithms. The simulation results verify that fairness with user´s priority algorithm makes a good trade-off between high rate of a user with high priority and fairness among users with different priorities. Performance of non-group users with max C/I varies by different priority factor values, while, the performance with fairness algorithm remains unchanged and guarantees the cell edge users have the same service level as cell inner users.
