Abstract :
The very low frequency (VLF) transmitting station can be used to provide communication underwater or on water surface with submerged submarines. And it is an important means for submarine command and communications. As the VLF transmitting antenna system has a complex structure and a large size, the radiation field may cause a potential harm on staff as well as to the public. In this paper, the United States Cutler transmitting station to submarine is taken as an example. And VLF antenna model is constructed to calculate the antenna radiation field and provide the distribution of the antenna radiation field. At last analyze the in influence of antenna radiation environment on staff as well as to the public.
