IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society: Research Awards for 2014-15

The IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) awards up to six US$1000 pre-doctoral scholarships and up to ten US$2500 PhD fellowships each year to encourage students to pursue a career in the area of electromagnetics. The awards are intended to support students involved in research directed by a faculty member at their institution who is a member of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S). Two award competitions are held each year. Applications must include all four items listed above to be considered for review. All application materials must be written in English and integrated into a single PDF document. Each award recipient will be required to submit a photo to be used in an announcement in the IEEE Antennas & Propagation Magazine and to complete a United States Internal Revenue Service Form W-8 or W-9. Disbursement of award funds will be contingent on receipt of the photo and the appropriate form. All applicable taxes are the responsibility of the award recipient. Application submission instructions will be posted at the AP-S web site (www.ieeeaps.org) and included in an e-mail announcement released before each deadline.
