Abstract :
This article describes aircraft DC generator voltage regulation. The basic principles of an aircraft DC generator and a carbon-pile voltage regulator are explained. The experimental part starts with the creation of a mathematical model of both the aircraft generator and the voltage regulator. Then a simulation of the generator-regulator system in the MATLAB-Simulink program was done. The results of this simulation, represented by the generator´s external load characteristics and the voltage-time characteristics of the generator-regulator system are then presented in this paper.
