Abstract :
This paper seeks to provide comparison between actual H.264AVC video coding standard and future High Efficient Video Coding (HEVC) standard. We compared some important tools features, like block size, transform coding, intra/inter prediction, entropy coding, etc. The idea is to show improvements in HEVC video coding design and possibility to be potentially used in different applications.
