Abstract :
The forward converter based on single-stage soft-switch active power factor correction (APFC) has many advantages. First of all, it has high power factor, secondly, the power switches can achieve soft-open and soft-shutdown, so efficiency of the converter is greatly improved, However, there are 100Hz harmonics in the output. A typical PID control is successful used to filtering of the harmonics in this paper.
