Abstract :
Traditional monitoring system has the disadvantages of high cost, low intelligence. It is difficult to achieve remote monitoring. A miniaturization, intelligent remote monitoring and alarm system based on ARM platform is designed. Using temporal difference and background subtraction method to detect moving objects, when illegal objects invade, it can trigger video recording, alarm and call the user through the GPRS module. The system is stable and can be used for anti-theft occasion.
