Abstract
The conventional method are iterative and bulky in nature for power flow measurement of a system. The Phasor Measurement Unit is a new technique for measurement of bus voltage and power flow. The concept of full weighted least square state estimator is nonlinear in nature, but with conventional method and PMUs it will improves the accuracy of the measurement without using the iteration process. In this paper the way of formation of measurement by using conventional method incorporation with Full weighted least square state estimation and PMU use will be investigated. Some cases are tested by introducing of PMUs and the effect on variables accuracy due to PMU on bus voltage and power flows are illustrated. The comparison of parameter obtained on IEEE 6 and IEEE 9 bus system will be discussed.
