Abstract :
Multisite Radar Systems (MSRSs) consisting of MIMO radars have important advantages for target detection not only in a background of receiver self-noises but in clutter too. Conditions of uncorrelated clutter echo fluctuations at the inputs of receiving stations are elucidated. Two ways for enhancing target detection in clutter are discussed: the increase of the number of fused signals and the use of the target Doppler frequency dependence at different stations on system geometry.
