  • Abstract
    A novel efficient dehazing technique for image reconstruction from single haze image is proposed in this paper. We employ an effective haze detector to detect the hazy image, and an efficient contrast enhancement technique for color images to reconstruct the hazy image. Extensive experimental results show that the proposed technique can obtain excellent performances of visual quality. since our approach requires lower computational complexity than other state-of-the-art techniques, it is very suitable to be applied to real-time applications.
