Abstract :
Online teaching has developed steadily in recent years, as evidenced by the gradual shift traditional teaching curricula to online learning platforms and the growing research on how to execute efficient learning in online environments. Many studies have demonstrated that reflection profoundly impacts learning performance and, without it, an on-line learning system is a simplistic website. However, the issues regarding the antecedents of reflection are less addressed. Previous studies argued that peer collaboration can motivate reflection. Interpersonal relationships are emphasized in social network. Therefore, based on a social network perspective, this study explores the antecedents of reflection and the relationship between reflection and learning performance in an online learning platform. an online teaching system is proposed for testing these relationships.
