Abstract :
In this work, rice husk material from paddy had been used as the main material to fabricate the truncated pyramidal microwave absorber. To increase the reflection loss performance, square flower split ring resonator (SF-SRR) had been incorporated onto the rice husk truncated pyramidal microwave absorber. This SF-SRR structure had been located at the top part of the truncated pyramidal microwave absorber. There are five different stage designs to compare the reflection loss performance of the truncated pyramidal microwave absorber. The first design is the normal truncated pyramidal microwave absorber. The next four designs are the truncated pyramidal microwave absorber with different number of SF-SRR structures. This truncated pyramidal microwave absorber with SF-SRR is simulated using the CST Microwave Studio simulation software. This simulation had been performed in between 0.01 GHz to 20.0 GHz of frequency.
