            Abstract : 
In this work, an ultracompact CMOS-compatible polarizer based on the horizontal nanoplasmonic slot waveguide (HNSW) is proposed. A detailed design principle is presented, in which the transverse-magnetic(TM)-cut-off condition is derived.
