            Abstract :
Impedance tuners are being employed within mobile handsets to improve radiated performance, compensate for environmental influences on antenna impedance, shrink antenna volumes and shorten design cycles. We present details on the specification, design, development and testing of the first production impedance tuner products utilizing RF-MEMS.
