Abstract :
This paper proposes an ultimately size-reduced super-compact multi-layered composite right-/left-handed transmission line which does not include feed line portions, which originally existed in our previous model for connecting stacked unit cells and outer circuits. This leads to significant size-reduction of 53 % from our previous three-unit-cell model. We believe that the proposed structure is truly the smallest architecture among the CRLH TLs proposed so far.
