Abstract
Permanent Magnet (PM) Brushless AC (henceforth referred as PMBLAC) motor operation is based on application of alternating higher voltage than the rotational EMF induced in its winding. The applied voltage and rotational induced EMFs should have identical zero crossing. The rotational induced EMF, which depends on instantaneous rotor position, is sensed using PM enhanced sensing, which is amplified using power operational amplifier (power OP AMP) for supplying power to the main winding of BLAC motor.
