Abstract :
Building on the work of others, we propose a different approach to studying the influence of letter grades on engineering students´ major choice and migration patterns. As this work progresses, we will improve understanding of the effects of course performance, grading distributions, and early major intentions on the likelihood that students will persist in a given field.
