Abstract :
In this paper, a system of advanced X-band Doppler weather radar with dual-linear polarization capability is described and the primary technological problem is discussed. Application of the experiment radar to observe the precipitation and intensity distribution, and the precipitation, hail, snow signature are recorded and analyzed. The test results show this system has a compact structure and good performance.
