Abstract
Elastic thin resonant cylinder is the core sensitive component of resonant cylindrical liquid density sensor. Through theoretical analyses and ANSYS simulation, this article conducted a series of detailed analyses and discussion about the vibration characteristics of resonant cylinder from geometric dimensions, constraint conditions and working environment. The results show that the selected geometric dimension of resonant cylinder can comply with the design requirements while its modal is m=1, n=3, constraint condition is its one end fixed and the other circumferentially constrained, and the working environment of resonant cylinder is its inside in the measured liquid and the outside in the air. This paper also makes research on the excitation point and picking point of resonant cylinder, which gives the positions of excitation coil and picking coil. This article provides theoretical basis and method for the design of the resonant cylindrical liquid density sensor.
