Abstract :
We show the application of an analytical method for predicting the nonlinear distortion in weakly nonlinear feedback circuits and, in particular, in multistage amplifiers. Omitting the mathematical derivations, we show how to formulate the problem and how to obtain general formulas for the harmonics and the nonlinear distortion figures. The accuracy of the formulas is proved by comparing the results from formulas with those obtained by harmonic balance method.
