Abstract :
This paper pleads for a definition of e-learning including also the remote access of the experimental stands (assemblies) equipped with computerized measurement systems. There are also listed the possibilities offered by Lab VIEW programming environment for developing applications with the Internet communication facilities. Regarding these aspects the work shows types of communication used by the Lab VIEW graphical programming environment in general and for electrical laboratory work in particular, emphasizing the advantages of using a communication environment instead of another, and the disadvantages of using these types of Internet communication.
